Pricing
My standard rate is $40.00 per one-hour session.
I also offer discounts when purchasing multiple sessions in advance, as follows:
5 sessions: $38.00 per session
10 sessions: $37.00 per session
15 sessions: $36.00 per session
20 or more: $35.00 per session
Locations
Since I don’t drive, my preferred locations are coffee shops and libraries around Pittsburgh. I am happy to travel around a bit, as long as I can get there easily on the bus.
Some of my current and past favorite locations are:

- Panera Bread – Corner of Boulevard of the Allies and Halket – Oakland
- Biddle’s Escape – Corner of Biddle and Trenton – Regent Square
- Carnegie Library – Squirrel Hill branch – Corner of Forbes & Murray
- Crazy Mocha – Corner of Murray and Hobart – Squirrel Hill

Cancellation Policy
My cancellation policy has two tiers. For most students the first tier is all you need to know, but the second tier is in place to cover all possibilities.
Tier 1 (this should cover most needs):
If a lesson is rescheduled at the time of cancellation, there is no fee for the missed lesson (regardless of how close to the scheduled start time the cancellation is made). I will always attempt to reschedule a lesson at the time of cancellation – I don’t want to have to charge you!
Tier 2: If the lesson is not rescheduled at time of cancellation:
There is no fee as long as I am notified at least 12 hours in advance of the scheduled start time.
If cancelled between 12 hours and the start time of the lesson, I charge half my normal rate for the scheduled duration of the lesson.
No-call no-shows are charged the full rate for the scheduled duration of the lesson.
